Griff at 4 years, 3 months: terribly independent, wants to "help" all the time, no matter how large the task. Loves helping to take care of his cousin Brody.
Asks "why?" and "how do you know?" frequently. It's hard to explain how you know that there's an ant on the floor when "I see an ant" isn't sufficient explanation. How do I know I see it? How do I know what I see is valid? Hmmm, maybe he's a philosopher. When he's not exploring the truths of the universe, he's very, very silly and remains in nearly perpetual motion.
Reese at 21 months: no longer a baby! Still has his baby hair but looks, acts, and sounds more like a little boy every day. His vocabulary is constantly increasing and he's combining 2 or more words most of the time now. He copies EVERYTHING we say and most of what his big brother does. Gives kisses and hugs to everybody, including any animals that we might happen to be near. Cutest thing ever? Toddler cuddling cheek to cheek with a goat.
